Board meeting agenda template

A more formal agenda template for small boards

Every board agenda has two main sections, the meeting header and the list of agenda items

Meeting header

The meeting header contains the general meeting information:

  • Date
  • Start time
  • End time
  • Location
  • Purpose
  • List of participants including guests
  • List of meeting documents (if applicable)

Agenda items

For each item, list the following information:

  • Title
  • Description
  • Person responsible for the item (lead)
  • Alloted time
  • List of reference documents (if applicable)

An example board agenda:

A. Call to order

  1. Roll call
  2. Approval of the agenda
  3. Approval of the previous meeting minutes

B. Reports

  1. President's report
  2. Finance report
  3. xx report

C. Old business

D. New business

E. Adjournment

  1. Announcements
  2. Date of the next meeting

When you create a new board with MyCommittee, go to settings -> Agendas and choose the 'Small board' templated to get started. Section and item titles can easily be changed to match your organization.
