Subscriptions & billing

Can I use mycommittee for free?

Yes, there is a free edition of mycommittee that has all the basic features and works well for small teams. The free edition is free forever but has some limitations.
See the pricing page to signup.

Is there a trial period for paid subscriptions?

Yes, we offer a FREE 30-day trial. You can try out any plan completely FREE for 30 days without any obligation. No credit card required to sign up!
See the pricing page for details.

How does the billing work?

When you subscribe to one of our plans, we will automatically email you an invoice through PayPal. The invoice will contain a link to pay online. The same link is also available on your organization's billing page.
To pay, you simply click the link and you will be directed to the secure PayPal website to complete your payment (mycommittee does not process or store your financial information). You can either pay with your existing PayPal account or simply pay anonymously with a credit or debit card.
Each year, before the renewal date, we will send another invoice. At that time you can decide to renew or cancel your subscription.
No hidden fees, no more unexpected credit card charges.

Do you offer monthly billing?

No, because of decreasing interest we removed our monthly billing plans. Our subscriptions are very affordable and even our annual prices are lower than what some of our competitors are charging per month.
Our goal at mycommittee is to remain the most affordable board and committee management software available while providing a great user experience and plenty of useful features.

I don't have a credit card. Can I still subscribe?

mycommittee uses PayPal as payment provider and several payment options are available through their service. If none of these work for you, we can also accept a cheque. It might be good to send a quick email to sales@mycommittee.com to confirm.

Our subscription has expired and the account holder has left the organization

If there are other admin users setup for your organization, they will be able to change the main customer contact and renew the subscription. If not, please contact support@mycommittee.com with all the details and we will be happy to assist.

Do the people I invite need to pay anything?

No, as the account holder, you own the subscription and you can add as many members as required. People can be member of paid and free committees at the same time.

How do I cancel my plan?

To cancel your plan go to the organization home page and select the billing tab. On this page you will find a link to Manage your subscription. You will need to confirm that this is really what you want to do.

ATTENTION: Once you confirm the cancellation, all your committee information (all committees on this plan) will be deleted permanently. You (or we) can NOT undo this operation.

Can I be a member of multiple organizations?

Yes, other organizations can invite you to become a member of a committee. You can even be administrator for other organizations and create committees using multiple subscriptions. You will see all your organizations on the Organizations page.
You can always access all your committees from the dashboard page regardless of the organization they belong to.

What are the limitations of the free edition?

With the free edition you can create 2 committees and add a maximum of 20 members per committee. If your team is small, the free version works very well. This edition was specially designed to help small charities, with no technology budget, to take advantage of our tools and we encourage these organizations to use it as much as possible.
The free edition is free forever and you can use it for as long as you want.

With the free edition, you are missing out on some great features which, unfortunately, we cannot all provide for free. With any paid plan you will already receive our quick polls which are great for a quick vote, our group meeting date finder 'when-to-meet', basic reports on how your committees are performing and searching capabilities to quickly find old minutes or discussions. And of course, more committees and storage space available.

Our plans are very affordable and we're sure you won't find anything that compares.

What's the difference between the free edition and a free trial?

With the Personal Free edition, you get a working environment that has all the basic features and is specially tailored for small teams. There are some limitations as you can read above.

The Free Trial version offers the full fledged edition of the application including all features available in the selected plan totally free for 30 days. There is no obligation and no payment information requested during sign up. After 30 days, you can decide to purchase a subscription, cancel the trial or convert your trial to the free edition.

Try-out all the features you want without any cost or obligation. Sign up today!
